Sophos has announced that the XG Series firewall appliances will be end-of-life on March 31, 2025. With the launch of our new

XGS Series desktop hardware and Sophos Firewall v21, there’s never been a better time to migrate onto the best network protection.


For a smooth transition, from November 07, 2024, we’ll introduce overlapping licenses specifically for early renewals from XG to XGS. This will allow customers to seamlessly operate both their XG and the new XGS appliances in parallel until the original XG license expires, all at no additional cost. 

 

What You’ll Get:

  • Free early access to XGS functionality when purchased before the XG expiry date

  • Concurrent use of both the XG and XGS firewalls from the date the order is processed to the XG expiry date

  • Flexibility to time the migration at your convenience

  • Extra time for setup and configuration while still protected by the existing XG installation
